Disaster Relief Grant Recipients

Resources for Resilience is excited to announce that we have recieved a generous grant from the North Carolina Community Foundation’s Disaster Relief Fund to expand our FREE educational programming in McDowell and Rutherford counties through the end of January 2027.

This is a valuable opportunity for Helene-impacted communities to continue building foundations for long-term resilience, healing, and recovery.

Call for Partners in Rutherford and McDowell Counties!

Right now we’re looking for teams and organizations across McDowell and Rutherford counties who are interested in hosting one or more of our signature trainings or workshops that teach participants how to reduce stress, manage burnout, navigate trauma and foster long‑term wellbeing.

Our grant timeline is limited, so we are scheduling sessions NOW! Here’s what you and your team can look forward to:

  • Priority scheduling for professional development trainings and workshops for Fall 2026 and Winter 2027.
  • Understanding of simple evidence-based tools and practices tailored to your network of community-based workers and professionals.
  • Direct support to help you plan, promote, and co-host a successful session for your internal team, or your wider community.
