REconnect for Resilience™

Simple Tools. Powerful Results.

Reconnect for Resilience, our flagship training, teaches about the biological effects of trauma and stress and offers easy-to-use, sharable tools that are designed for real life—whether you’re stressed at work, in your car, or even at the store.

In this multi-day, trauma-informed interactive training, you will learn about the physical and neurological stress response, and then practice ways to manage stress on the spot, strengthen relationships, and build resilience in yourself and those around you.

This curriculum is designed to help entire communities develop a common language around the science of stress and resilience. Our hope is that anyone can use this information to feel better and thrive, even on the toughest days.

    Program TESTIMONIALS

“RFR’s Reconnect for Resilience has become the core set of intervention skills our counselors, social workers, and psychologists use to help promote emotional regulation in students at all levels. Outside of the student services suite, we have a growing number of teachers who have learned to deploy the “rapid resets” to help restore student functioning. Reconnect offers a readily accessible set of skills that

can easily be deployed in classroom settings.”

    John B., Student Services Director

“I thought the [Reconnect for Resilience™] training was outstanding. It was very powerful for me. It is one of the few, and maybe the only training I’ve gone to where I learned skills, had a chance to practice them in the break out groups, and then I used them the very next day with two different clients, with success. The pandemic has exacerbated my clients concerns/issues … and they got a lot out of the tools as well. Thank you and congratulations for having such a remarkable program!

    Blair F., LMFT

“Reconnect for Resilience™ is the most comprehensive and helpful training I have
ever attended. They synthesize a lot of information into an easy-to-understand
format that makes an immediate and profound impact on our lives and the lives of people around us. I feel healthier and happier since attending this training and am energized to spread the tools to others. Resources for Resilience is exactly what
every school needs to improve its climate, culture, and student outcomes.”

    Chris P.

“I want to express that, in 24 years in education, I believe this training has been one of, if not the most, impactful professional development experiences I have ever seen. Not only on a personal level, but district-wide, the participants that have received the training have shared what a support it has been. We are witnessing staff identify how much the strategies have helped them to regulate their own stress and anxiety, but also offer this to students. Staff have enjoyed the RFR
training so much they have gone back to their schools and encouraged others to
    attend.”

    Karen H.

“After taking the workshop, Reconnect for Resilience™, I feel like I have tools that I
can use to work with students who have experienced trauma. As a classroom
teacher, my goal is to teach. Students who have had traumatic experiences are not
always open to new information. Resources for Resilience has given me tools to
help students redirect their emotions and get them back on task quickly. In
addition to helping students, these tools have helped me in my personal life. I am
able to use these tools on myself to keep me from flipping out. I’ve used these tools
to help with dealing with difficult parents. I have also used these tools in traffic
(road rage) and at the grocery store. As a veteran teacher, I believe all teachers
need to learn and implement these tools into their classrooms and lives. This stuff
    works!”

    Paul R.

“Unanimously, it was stated that this was the best training our team has received in
the last 18 months. All levels found real value from the class. Everyone – our intake
team, peer support specialists, case managers, regional coordinators, and assistant directors – felt energized and took an internal pulse on both their own resiliency and how to apply this with the veterans that we serve.”

    Brandon W., Managing Director
