Additional Questions
What are the requirements for participating schools or organizations?
To support student Resiliency Ambassadors for Youth effectively, at least two adults at the participating school or youth-serving organization must first complete our Reconnect for Resilience™ training. This helps ensure that students have trusted adults who understand the RFR approach and can support them as they put their learning into practice.
Do you offer opportunities for follow-up practice?
Yes. Adults at the participating school or youth-serving organization who have participated in an RFR program can join our monthly Resilient Connections practice groups. These free groups offer an opportunity to revisit the tools, ask questions, practice with others, and stay connected to the RFR community. This ongoing connection helps adults continue building their own skills so they can best support students as they put what they’ve learned into practice.
Participating adults are also invited to explore our Program Catalog for ways to continue learning and practicing with us or to expand this work within their organization.
I loved how hands on the tasks were and how comfortable both the advisors made us. I was very comfortable sharing my opinions and thoughts.
