Ideal Resiliency Ambassador candidates are existing Resiliency Champions who are ready to deepen their skills and share RFR’s Resiliency Tools with others by learning to teach one of our signature 1-hour presentations.

The program is designed for people who want to bring RFR’s tools and approach back to their own organizations or communities and share them with the people they serve, work alongside, and support.

Each session can accommodate up to 10 participants.

This program is facilitated by RFR-certified Resiliency Educators.

Participants will:

• Learn how to confidently share RFR’s signature trauma-informed curricula.

• Connect & collaborate with RFR staff and a network of Resiliency Partners.

• Discover practical ways to bring the RFR approach to their organization or community and create lasting impact.

Open-to-the-community events are listed on our Event Calendar, with registration details indicating the cost to participate, if any. Our team is also available to provide information about scholarship opportunities.

Select community trainings and workshops offer continuing education credits through our partnership with Area L AHEC. CEU availability varies by program, so be sure to check the event details when registering.

CEUs are available for a small additional fee, paid directly to Area L AHEC. More information about CEU eligibility, fees, and requirements is provided during the registration process.

To become a Resiliency Ambassador, you’ll need to have attended Reconnect for Resilience™ and Resiliency Champions, and completed the Resiliency Ambassadors training. Additional requirements include a short application and may also involve observing related 1-hour presentations or participating in other designated learning opportunities.

These experiences build on one another, preparing you to confidently bring RFR’s tools and presentations back to your organization or community.

Yes. We believe that continued practice is an important part of making new skills and tools part of everyday life. We offer monthly Resilient Connections practice groups where participants can revisit and strengthen the skills they’ve learned. These groups are free, and anyone who has participated in an RFR training is welcome and encouraged to join us.

Participants are also invited to explore our Program Catalog for ways to continue learning and practicing with us. For organizations, our workshop packages and extended training series offer additional opportunities to deepen and expand this work.
