Those who have completed our signature Reconnect for Resilience™ training are invited to continue their journey with this premier certification workshop. This 1-day training program is designed for enthusiastic professionals and community leaders who want to inspire meaningful, positive change by deepening their knowledge and building their confidence using the RFR Resiliency Tools.
Resiliency Champions receive in-depth professional support as they explore new ways to promote trauma-informed and resiliency-focused programs within their personal and professional networks.

Who should attend?
This program is for adults who have completed Reconnect for Resilience™ and are ready to deepen their learning and build confidence using the RFR Resiliency Tools.
The program is especially suited to people who want to use and share these tools with others — whether in their work, community, family, or other areas of their lives — and who are interested in helping foster greater resilience and well-being.
How many participants can attend a session?
Each session can accommodate up to 25 participants.
Who facilitates this program?
This program is facilitated by RFR-certified Resiliency Educators.
What will participants take away from this program?
Participants will:
- Refresh & refine their understanding core Reconnect for Resilience™ principles and trauma-informed practices.

Learn & lead with effective strategies for sharing Resiliency Tools and integrating them into everyday life.

Connect & collaborate with others to develop actionable plans for creating lasting impact in their communities and workplaces.
How much does this program cost?
Open-to-the-community events are listed on our Event Calendar, with registration details indicating the cost to participate, if any. Our team is also available to provide information about scholarship opportunities.

Are CEUs available?
Select community trainings and workshops offer continuing education credits through our partnership with Area L AHEC. CEU availability varies by program, so be sure to check the event details when registering.
CEUs are available for a small additional fee, paid directly to Area L AHEC. More information about CEU eligibility, fees, and requirements is provided during the registration process.
Additional Questions
What are the requirements to become a Resiliency Champion?
To become a Resiliency Champion, you’ll need to have attended Reconnect for Resilience™ and completed a Resiliency Champions workshop.
If it has been more than one year since you attended our Reconnect for Resilience™ training, we ask that you complete the 2-hour Reconnect Refresher before attending the Resiliency Champions workshop.
Do you offer opportunities for follow-up practice?
Yes. We believe that continued practice is an important part of making new skills and tools part of everyday life. We offer monthly Resilient Connections practice groups where participants can revisit and strengthen the skills they’ve learned. These groups are free, and anyone who has participated in an RFR training is welcome and encouraged to join us.
Participants are also invited to explore our Program Catalog for ways to continue learning and practicing with us. For organizations, our workshop packages and extended training series offer additional opportunities to deepen and expand this work.
