Our 2-hour Refresher is an opportunity for people who have already completed Reconnect for Resilience™ to revisit the core concepts and build confidence putting them to use in everyday life.
Through interactive practice and discussion, participants will revisit key ideas, spend time with the RFR Resiliency Tools, and reconnect with the experience of learning and practicing together.
Whether you’re looking to brush up on your skills or continue along the Resiliency Partners Pathway, the Reconnect Refresher provides a welcoming opportunity to keep learning and practicing.

Who should attend?
This program is for adults who have previously attended Reconnect for Resilience™ and would like an opportunity to revisit the core concepts, practice the Resiliency Tools, and refresh their skills.
It’s a great fit for anyone who wants to reconnect with the material — whether for their own continued learning or as part of their journey along the Resiliency Partners Pathway.
If it has been more than one year since you attended Reconnect for Resilience™, we ask that you complete the 2-hour Reconnect Refresher before attending our Resiliency Champions workshop.
How many participants can attend a session?
Each session can accommodate up to 25 participants.

This program is facilitated by RFR-certified Resiliency Educators.
What will participants take away from this program?
Participants will:

Revisit RFR’s trauma-informed, resiliency-focused tools and concepts.

Practice the RFR Resiliency Tools with guidance from certified trainers.

Explore new ways to promote resilience in their everyday lives, workplaces, and communities.
How much does this program cost?

Are CEUs available?
Select community trainings and workshops offer continuing education credits through our partnership with Area L AHEC. CEU availability varies by program, so be sure to check the event details when registering.
CEUs are available for a small additional fee, paid directly to Area L AHEC. More information about CEU eligibility, fees, and requirements is provided during the registration process.

Do you offer opportunities for follow-up practice?
Yes. We believe that continued practice is an important part of making new skills and tools part of everyday life. We offer monthly Resilient Connections practice groups where participants can revisit and strengthen the skills they’ve learned. These groups are free, and anyone who has participated in an RFR training is welcome and encouraged to join us.
Participants are also invited to explore our Program Catalog for ways to continue learning and practicing with us. For organizations, our workshop packages and extended training series offer additional opportunities to deepen and expand this work.
Reconnect for Resilience™ is the most comprehensive and helpful training I have ever attended. They synthesize a lot of information into an easy-to-understand format that makes an immediate and profound impact on our lives and the lives of people around us.
